The following are examples of grants that the Weaver Family Foundation has made:
American Jewish World Service
Operating Support for the projects of AJWS that are motivated by Judaism’s imperative to pursue economic and social justice. Through grantmaking, volunteer service advocacy and education, AJWS works to build civil society, foster sustainable development and promote human dignity for all people.
Arava Institute
A cooperative environmental graduate institution in Israel that promotes multicultural participation amongst Israelis, Palestinians and Jordanians
Attention Homes
Operational support for youth shelter in Boulder which provides safe shelter and support services for youth.
Boulder Jewish Community Center
Funding provided to support HaSifria, the Boulder Jewish Community Library and Media Center, to provide seed money for development and a professional librarian, and ongoing operating support for the programs and activities of the center.
Boulder Jewish Day School
Operating support, staff development funds and marketing materials.
Boulder Shelter for the Homeless
To help provide safe shelter, food, support services, and an avenue to self-sufficiency for homeless adults in Boulder County.
Boulder Day Nursery Association
Day care that is affordable for Boulder's working families.
Colorado Agency for Jewish Education
Scholarships for teens to attend the Israel Study Tour Summer Program.
Colorado Energy Assistance Foundation
Support for assisting Coloradans with their home energy needs.
Community Food Share of Boulder
To help collect, produce and distribute food to the hungry through a network of qualified food programs in Boulder County.
Community Foundation Serving Boulder County
Social Venture Partners program in Boulder County. Sponsor for Community Ventures annual event for Boulder County non-profit agencies.
Emergency Family Assistance Association
To help meet basic needs and promote financial stability and self-sufficiency for Boulder County residents, primarily families with children, whose needs cannot be met adequately by other means.
Foundation For Jewish Camping
Promotes Jewish camping experiences for youth
Global Greengrants Fund
Support for small grants to grassroots groups working to help people protect the environment, live sustainably, preserve biodiversity, and gain a voice in their own future.
Growing Gardens
Able Gardening Program with gardening-based therapy work, the elderly and people with disabilities are able to imcrease mobility, enhance independence andexperience fulfillment and pride of their accomplishments
Hand in Hand
Support for an Arab/Israeli bilingual and bicultural school in Jerusalem and the Misgav region in Northern Israel.
Impact on Education
Mini-Grants for special teacher initiated projects in the Boulder Valley School District.
Intercambio de Comunidades
Receives funds to support technology to carry out its mission to build bridges of understanding across cultures, increase opportunities and independence for immigrants, and create a stronger, more integrated Boulder County.
Nature Conservancy of Colorado
Programming support for the expansion of educational facilities on Colorado's nature preserves.
New Israel Fund
Promote equality, fairness, and justice for all of Israel's citizens. Support for SHATIL, NIF’s empowerment and training center in Israel.
RIKMA
Created a spiritual Community Leadership Training Program in Boulder, Colorado which was conducted by rabbinical students from Israel.
Thorne Ecological Institute
Build’s Earth Stewardship by “connecting kids to nature” through hand-on environmental education. The foundation supports Thorne’s Wind Energy Program.
Women's Wilderness Institute
Support for Girls' Wilderness Program Leadership program for adolescent women.
