The Weaver Family Foundation of Boulder, Colorado will cease operations in 2008. The assets of the Weaver Family Foundation will be transferred to two newly created foundations, 18 Pomegranates Foundation and the Oreg Foundation. These new foundations are in the process of developing their missions. Current projects of the Weaver Family Foundation will continue to operate under one of the new foundations. Chidush, www.chidush.org, and the Dare to Dream initiative will operate within the 18 Pomegranates Foundation. Boulder Jewish Commons, www.bjcommons.org, will operate within the Oreg Foundation.

The Weaver Family Foundation will honor all of its current funding commitments before ceasing operations or those obligations will pass to one of the new foundations. Organizations who have been grantees of the Weaver Family Foundation in the past will be contacted by one of the new foundations if there is an opportunity for future funding. It has been a pleasure to work with so many visionary leaders and committed staff over the past years and we wish all of you continued success in the communities you serve.
